Defending champion Barcelona looks to get their groove going as they face Malaga in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals on Wednesday at Camp Nou in Spain.
Barcelona is all expected to go for the kill even in the first leg of their quarterfinal duel with Malaga.
Four-time Ballon de Or winner Messi, Andres Iniesta, Xavi and the rest of the star-studded Barca squad will try to jump on a bigger lead to secure another trip in the Copa del Rey semis, where they could face arch rival Real Madrid.
The return of David Villa also makes Barca more formidable than ever on their attacks. Villa recently scored twice in Barcelona’s 5-0 win over Cardoba in the second leg of their round-of-16 duel.
On the other hand, Malaga is coming off a swashbuckling 4-0 win over Eibar in their Copa del Rey tiff and is expected to enter Wednesday’s match in high spirits.
Malaga doesn’t possess prolific scorers like Barcelona have but their strikers Roque Santa Cruz and Joaquin can certainly pulled off something under their sleeves on gameday.
Paddy Power offered Malaga as a huge underdog going into the match at 16.00 while Barcelona is pegged at 1.17. A draw is set at 7.00.
